About the role

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator & Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Grande Prairie. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in keeping operations organized and running efficiently.

Monday to Friday 9:00 AM ? 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Payroll
Process payroll and maintain accurate employee payroll records
Track employee vacation, holidays, and banked time
Prepare and issue monthly customer invoices
Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
Process accounts payable and maintain organized financial records
Perform account reconciliations and assist with bookkeeping functions
Support GST, payroll remittances, CRA payments, and year-end reporting
Assist with T4s, T5018s, ROEs, and other required documentation
Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems
Administration & Operations
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee files, company records, and internal spreadsheets
Assist with benefits administration and insurance renewals
Renew business licenses, fleet registrations, and compliance documents
Order office supplies, company apparel, decals, and promotional materials
Maintain equipment, tool, and company asset tracking lists
Manage company email account setup and removal
Review recurring expenses and subscriptions for accuracy and cost efficiency
Follow up on missing receipts, records, and supporting documentation
Assist with maintaining the company?s online presence and Google Business profile with 3rd parties
Provide administrative support to management and field operations
Assist with special projects and operational tasks as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in administration, bookkeeping, accounting, or office management
Experience with QuickBooks Online
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
Construction industry experience is considered an asset

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
