Get an inside look at what it’s like working at Sleeman Breweries by following @LifeAtSleeman on Instagram Purpose and Impact The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support for the Western Marketing team while driving social media execution for assigned brands. This role plays a key part in strengthening brand presence, increasing engagement, and supporting regional marketing initiatives through creative content and operational excellence. This is a contract position, anticipated to run from September 2026 through approximately January 2028. Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Engagement Plan and execute regional social media calendars, including quarterly reporting on performance and trends Create engaging content, promotions, and contests to grow brand awareness and audience engagement Identify and implement new ways to increase consumer engagement through digital channels Marketing Coordination & Brand Support Support regional brand managers with New Product Development projects and cross-functional coordination Assist the Wild Rose Taproom with marketing requests, including promotional materials and online communication Liaise with photographers, videographers, and external agencies to support marketing initiatives Administrative & Operational Support Process invoices, create requisitions, and manage purchase order (P.O.) tracking for the regional team Track sponsorship requests, coordinate approvals, and manage order placement and delivery Provide centralized administrative support to the Marketing team, including correspondence and presentations Events & Communications Assist with development and distribution of event-related materials Attend and support events to capture content for social media and marketing use Prepare internal communications such as memos, letters, and agreements as required Skills and Qualifications (Required) Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field Post-secondary education in marketing, business, or a related discipline Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Experience managing professional social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to demonstrate behaviours aligned with organizational values Work Environment (Hybrid/Onsite) This role operates in a hybrid work environment, combining in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.
