Position Overview:

As an integral member of the Finance Team, the Finance Coordinator is responsible for managing accounts receivable, maintaining student accounts, and processing payments with a high degree of accuracy. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is responsible for reconciliations, journal entries, refund requests, account adjustments and other accounting transactions related to accounts receivable management. Serving as a key point of contact, the Finance Coordinator collaborates across departments and delivers exceptional service to families, staff, and external partners to support the school’s financial operations.

What You’ll Bring

You bring at least three years of experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable capacity, backed by a solid understanding of standard accounting practices, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. A degree, diploma, or certificate in a related field is considered an asset, as is technical proficiency with Google Workspace and accounting software. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills allow you to interact diplomatically and responsively with families and colleagues alike. Self-motivated and adaptable, you possess strong planning skills that enable you to navigate frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and proactively identify opportunities for process efficiencies within the department.

Salary Range: $72,500 - $78,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
