About the role
Codentrel, a leading provider of IT, telecom, and AI-driven solutions, is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. This role is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors, supporting office operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions.
Responsibilities
Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate staff or meeting room Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls in a professional manner Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, welcoming, and presentable at all times Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed Assist with scheduling meetings, booking conference rooms, and coordinating appointments Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations Provide basic information about Codentrel's services to visitors and callers
Requirements
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (College diploma in Office Administration is an asset) Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, and phone systems Knowledge of basic administrative and clerical procedures
Soft Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude with a focus on customer service Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Work Conditions
Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Occasional flexibility for special events or meetings Primarily office-based role in Mississauga
