The City of North Bay invites applications for the position of Clerk Dispatcher (Part-Time as required) to provide relief for peak work periods along with vacation and sick leave relief.
Reporting to the Public Works Administrative Supervisor, dispatches Public Works crews, reschedules Transit assignments, answers and responds to all telephone calls and performs various clerical duties.
Qualifications
Grade 12 education or acceptable combination of education and relevant experience Three (3) years related experience Clear and pleasant telephone manner, ability to handle multiple calls Proficient in general office administration, with accurate keyboarding skills (40 WPM) Superior oral and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Experience in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Applicants may be subject to assessment for Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
