Chief Operating Officer (COO) — Remote (EST) This is a fully remote position : the candidate can be located anywhere as long as they are in a similar time zone.
Our client, a fast-growing paid ads agency specializing in Meta, Google, and TikTok performance marketing, is hiring a full-time Chief Operating Officer to lead operations and help scale the business across North America.
The Role You'll be the operational backbone of the agency, making sure projects run smoothly, deadlines are met, and the team stays aligned with growth goals. This is a hands-on leadership role: alongside running operations, you'll carry your own book of client accounts as a Project Manager, owning campaign delivery from onboarding through monthly reporting.
What You'll Do Oversee day-to-day operations and manage the Project Management and Ad Management teams Carry a personal portfolio of client accounts as a hands-on PM, the primary point of contact for your assigned clients Ensure all campaigns hit client KPIs and meet quality standards Own and refine SOPs, workflows, and the tech stack (Monday.com, Slack, Google Workspace, Databox, Fireflies.ai, Canva) Lead weekly delivery meetings, PM stand-ups, and internal reviews Proactively resolve bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency and client health Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
What We're Looking For 5+ years in operations, project management, or account management at a paid ads / performance marketing agency, with a proven track record of directly managing client accounts Deep familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads Experience managing remote teams and communicating across ad managers, leadership, and client stakeholders Comfortable carrying a personal client portfolio while running team-wide operations Experience building, implementing, and enforcing SOPs Expert-level proficiency with Monday.com, Slack, and Google Workspace Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Fluent English (written and verbal) Available full-time (40 hrs/week) within the EST time zone
