To strengthen our team at our Brampton, Ontario location, we are looking for a Part Time Janitor
Job Description:
Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and carpets throughout the facility. Sanitize, clean, and restock washrooms on a regular basis. Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal. Clean walls, ceilings, windows, and light fixtures as required. Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, including appliances, tables, and surfaces. Ensure the overall cleanliness and orderly appearance of the establishment. Perform general cleaning duties as needed to support daily operations. Complete minor handyman and basic maintenance tasks to help keep the building in good working condition. Communicate effectively with management regarding maintenance issues, supply needs, or concerns. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, manager, or their designate.
Job Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in working with cleaning supplies and chemicals Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English, for effective communication Ability to work independently within established guidelines Good physical health to meet the requirements of the job Good time management skills and attention to detail Prior Janitorial experience in an office preferred Skilled craftsman
