About the role
CAMA Woodlands Long Term Care Home has an immediate opening for the role of:
Staffing Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, coordinate, and maintain nursing department schedules.
- Arrange or delegate coverage for sick calls, leaves, vacations, and unfilled shifts in accordance with collective agreements.
- Review and verify nursing department timecards daily to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Support the orientation process for newly hired staff and students.
- Assist the Clinical Manager with scheduling of staff education and in-service training as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Secondary school diploma required; diploma or certificate in a health-related, business, or administrative field preferred.
· Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with scheduling software, electronic staffing systems, and Microsoft Office programs.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
· Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism required.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
· Knowledge of staffing practices, collective agreements, and scheduling processes considered preferred.
· Experience in a long-term care setting and nursing staff scheduling preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Full time, Permanent - 75 hours bi-weekly (Monday ? Friday, 8:00AM ? 4:00 PM)
· This is a non-union Position
· Salary: $58000 - $62000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
