WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Reporting to the Sourcing Manager, the Sourcing Specialist will source both the supplier and products from Global and Non-Asia suppliers, including manufacturers and service providers. Additionally, this role will manage Supplier relationships and performance, RFQ and Cost analysis, and new product development initiatives to ensure all sources and products comply with Masco’s sourcing, commercial and quality initiatives.
As part of this role, the Sourcing Specialist works directly with internal stakeholders to define sourcing needs and develop required documents, processes and training, as well as perform supplier coaching and management activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Direct import purchasing Facilitate one-stop supplier and product sourcing solutions - OEM, ODM, new technology, innovation for new product development Manage supplier life cycle process from introduction to phase out, develop and continuously enhance relationships with supplier in day-to-day communication with comprehensive sourcing skillset Manage supplier performance by using supplier scorecard and performance management tools, lead the corrective action process meeting with suppliers until actions have been completed. Support sourcing strategy execution through supplier sourcing optimization Manage supplier RFQ and business award analysis Conduct department data analysis, reporting and lead Power BI initiatives Sourcing responsibilities include a focus on Supplier relationship management, price, contract/T&C negotiations, supply sustainability, and preparation of future sourcing initiatives for the specific category Actively implement and identify cost saving opportunities while work closely with Engineering on Value Engineering direct and indirect costs Acts as the contact for internal stakeholders in identifying sourcing needs for new product development and understanding procurement policies, processes, and requirements. Participate and manage cross-functional activities including as sourcing lead for assigned category Perform new and existing supplier assessments with Corporate Audit teams. Ensuring governance and customer specific compliances are core function of supply base, ensure no risk to product quality, supply and overall liability. Understand and analyze market intelligence/ conditions to determine optimal leverage for Masco. Establish partnership and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Suppliers). Work closely with overseas counterparts to ensure alignment in sourcing initiatives. Travel is required, up to 40%, to maintain close management and relationships with suppliers.
What You Will Bring
At least 3+ years relevant supplier and product sourcing experience in manufacturer, buying office / trading /manufacturing industries. Work independently, solve problems and take ownership on initiatives with creative out of the box thinking Collaborative, relationship builder, quick learner, highly organized, result oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work with ambiguity Strong business acumen, data driven and analytical thinker Experience sourcing Mechanical and Electrical products and their development, an asset Experience in Business and New Product development Sourcing practices and initiations Understanding and experience with Total Cost of Ownership. Sourcing and business management networks will be considered an asset. Understanding of engineering design and manufacturing fundamentals. Understanding new product development flow, Stage Gate process, an asset. Experience using ERP, MRP, Oracle, SAP Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Power BI and PowerPoint) and Smartsheet are required. The ideal candidate will have Supply Chain or Business Management Certification or Diploma or 5 years of direct strategic sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment. Equivalent combination of education and experience would also be considered. The candidate should be able to travel domestically and overseas

Hiring Range: $52,500.00 - $82,720.00 CAD
The salary range shown reflects the expected annual base salary for this open position, plus other wage amounts such as annual bonus, profit sharing, and commissions.
Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
