Job Description: HR Project Partners is recruiting a Branch Manager on behalf of our Client, a well‑established Atlantic Canadian industrial products and services company. The organization is seeking a hands‑on leader to oversee its Wabush branch. This role is ideal for an experienced manager capable of leading people, strengthening customer relationships, overseeing service operations, and managing inventory and financial performance while driving sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for day‑to‑day branch operations, including employee leadership, service coordination, customer engagement, inventory management, safety compliance, budgeting, and business development.

Essential Job Functions: Lead and coordinate daily branch operations to maintain efficient workflow and responsive customer service. Supervise, coach and support branch employees, including technicians and administrative personnel. Coordinate service work, employee scheduling and customer requirements. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for sustainable business growth. Monitor branch expenses, inventory levels, purchasing requirements and overall financial performance. Ensure company records, service reports and administrative documentation are accurate and current. Work closely with head office personnel, suppliers and internal purchasing resources. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Identify operational bottlenecks, reduce errors and recommend practical process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable safety, legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain a clean, organized and professionally operated facility. Develop a practical understanding of the company’s products, services and their industrial applications.

Education and Experience Requirements: Previous management or supervisory experience in industrial distribution, equipment service, mining support, construction supply, heavy equipment, mechanical services or a comparable industry. Demonstrated ability to lead employees, organize work and hold a team accountable for results. Strong customer relationship, sales and business-development capabilities. Sound financial and business judgment, including experience managing expenses, inventory and performance targets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of branch performance. Post-secondary education in business, engineering technology, skilled trades or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent industry and leadership experience will also be considered. Knowledge of the Labrador West industrial and mining market would be an asset. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process-improvement methods would be an asset. Bilingualism in English and French would be an asset.
