As a Claims Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the Claims team’s daily operations and ensuring the accurate handling of client documentation and requests. What you’ll accomplish with us As a Claims Assistant, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities: Screen and distribute emails and incoming requests to the appropriate team members; Sort, scan, and manage incoming mail and documentation, including digital imaging; Prepare, print, and assemble client correspondence and required documentation; Conduct system searches to retrieve client information and follow up on returned mail; Support claims setup and update files, including payment status and client information; Communicate with clients (calls and emails) to respond to inquiries or obtain missing information; Collaborate with claims analysts and internal teams to support daily operations. What could accelerate your success in this role We’re looking for someone who: Is known for their strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Stands out for their ability to manage repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy; Is recognized for their teamwork and ability to collaborate in a high-volume environment; Has 2–3 years of experience in customer service or administrative support (finance industry an asset); Is able to come to the office 2 to 3 times per week in a hybrid work model; Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis. The typical hiring range for this position is between 50,000 $ and 55,000 $ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
