Summer Student – Customer Service & Operations Support (4-Month Contract)

Atlantic Industries Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Student to join our Ayr team for a 4-month contract position. This role is ideal for a student interested in customer service, business administration, operations, or supply chain coordination.

Working closely with the sales, production, and operations teams, the successful candidate will assist with customer service activities, order coordination, shipping logistics, and general administrative support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with customer inquiries and order processing
• Support shipping and delivery coordination
• Help organize and maintain order and inventory information
• Communicate with internal departments regarding production schedules and customer needs
• Assist with preparing paperwork, reports, and documentation
• Support the team with general administrative and operational tasks
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely customer updates
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient workplace

What We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in business, administration, engineering technology, supply chain, or a related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous customer service or office experience is considered an asset
