About the role

At Robert Half, our Senior Associates (Business Development) work in a team environment and are responsible for developing business and negotiating engagements with both new and existing clients. Senior Associates promote our services through telephone outreach, video meetings, and in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers within administrative and customer support departments.

Additional responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and matching highly skilled administrative and customer support professionals with clients’ projects, contract assignments, and contract-to-full-time opportunities; managing ongoing engagements to deliver exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates; providing ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates; and participating in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half’s presence within the local business community.

This position follows a hybrid work model, with four days per week on-site in our new office located in the Bentall Centre in downtown Vancouver.

Qualifications BA/BS degree preferred. 1+ year of administrative or customer support experience preferred. 2+ years of business development experience in a metrics-driven environment, including at least one year of success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker environment. Proven success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small- and medium-sized businesses, while cultivating mutually beneficial long-term relationships. Working knowledge of current Windows operating systems, the Microsoft Office Suite, and contact management applications (e.g., Salesforce). Knowledge of and familiarity with administrative and customer support department operations. Positive attitude and an engaging, professional approach to business.

The typical salary range for this position is $56,500 to $71,000, depending on experience and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for commission, with first-year on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $90,000.
