The Office of the Legislative Assembly (OLA) actively supports Nunavut’s elected officials and the activities of Nunavut’s Legislative Assembly.

Led by the Clerk, the OLA supports Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) during sittings of the Assembly as well as the work of special and standing committees. The OLA provides technical and broadcasting support, performs a range of financial and human resources-related functions, and offers research, legal, and member support services to MLAs.

The OLA also supports the activities of Nunavut’s independent officers and their teams, including the Representative of Children and Youth, the Information and Privacy Commissioner, the Integrity Commissioner, the Languages Commissioner, and the Chief Electoral Officer.
