HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records, recruitment trackers, and HR project trackers (e.g., hiring activity logs, onboarding checklists) Draft offer letters through the ATS/HRIS for new hires, and create week 1 new hire schedules and first-day preparation Coordinate first day logistics (equipment, welcome memo communications) and initiate new hire tasks in BambooHR Help research and benchmark HR best practices to support ongoing projects Support the creation of training materials, process documents, and presentation decks Support health and safety documentation such as JHSC minutes and monthly inspections Assist with formatting and organizing HR documents, templates, and SharePoint resources, and compiling data for reports and presentations Maintain confidentiality of HR and candidate information Use AI tools to improve efficiency in day-to-day HR tasks Other duties as required Recruiting Support: Support the recruitment cycle including job postings, resume screenings, and interview scheduling/coordination with hiring managers and candidates Manage candidate communications and coordinate background checks, credential verifications, and reference checks for successful candidates Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (JazzHR) Project & Special Initiatives Support: Assist with special HR projects such as retention strategy initiatives, performance review process improvements, and recruitment toolkit development Support the creation of training materials, process documents, and presentation decks for hiring managers and new initiatives Help research and benchmark HR best practices to support ongoing projects Assist with drafting and formatting internal communications and process guides Required Skills and Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a University or College co-op program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Registered in a recognized co-op program Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer service orientation when interacting with internal and external stakeholders Self-starter who takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (e.g., JazzHR) and HRIS (e.g., BambooHR) will be an asset Discretion in handling confidential information Term Details, Compensation & Work Location Term: September 2026 – December 2026 (4-month co-op term) Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on year of study, relevant experience, and internal equity Schedule: 40-hour work week Location: Mississauga, ON Work Arrangement: 5 days per week in-office Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing Fall 2026 co-op opportunity Life at Rodan – Our Culture: At Rodan, we believe a great workplace goes beyond the work itself.
