*Title: *Inventory Control Supervisor Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Working under minimal supervision the Inventory Control Supervisor shall be responsible for inventory control including the cycle count of materials, ordering supplies and ensuring the availability of supplies for future production while maintaining effective communication with management and other staff.
Inventory Control
- Perform cycle count inventory
- Evaluate all production schedules and determine all required materials
- Ensure availability of all supplies for current and future production needs
- Manage transportation of materials from one department to another
- Prepare inventory and material reports
- Manage electronic and hard copy records related to inventory
- Coordinate with all department managers to ensure accountability for all material
- Maintain all information status of materials on routine basis
- Prepare efficient project schedules for inventory operations
- Tracks and records all material movements in and out of the building
- Document all incidences of ingredient shortages
- Effectively inspects product in accordance with specified requirements
- Completes work within expected periods of time
- Has excellent attendance and punctuality
- Completes records accurately and completely, including all paper work
_Supervision _
- Establish departmental work schedules and procedures as needed
- Routinely track and report trends
- Resolve work-related issues
- Demonstrates leadership and understanding of production and the quality process
- Monitor and motivate staff
- Ensure targets are met
- Enforce policies and procedures i.e. organizational policies, Health and safety measures, SQF
- Co-ordinate, train, assign and review the inventory-related duties of personnel as needed; Associates, Line Leads, Material Handlers
*Skills and Competencies: *
- Minimum 3-5 years of related inventory experience required. Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing Inventory Systems
- Related post-secondary training or related experience preferred
- Completion of Secondary school required
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Quality focused, strives for high level of accuracy and completeness
- Solid basic math skills
- Strong organizational skills, quality focus with ability to follow established SOPs, and GMPs
- Multi-tasking/prioritization skills and a sense of urgency, while maintaining SQE standard

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
