The Opportunity

Carlson Construction Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSE Administrator to support one of our exciting project sites in North Vancouver. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining our strong safety culture while contributing to a major project in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role follows a 10-day on / 4 days off rotation, with 10-hour workdays, and is based locally in North Vancouver.

About the Role

The HSE Administrator plays a critical role in supporting compliance, documentation, and overall health, safety, and environmental performance on site.

You will work closely with the on-site HSE team, project leadership, and HR to ensure safe operations and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Maintain and track accident, incident, and safety statistics, including violations
• Review safety documentation for accuracy and provide feedback
• Track and monitor safety training for employees and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with all required HSE documentation and processes
• Notify management of any issues that may impact safety or performance
• Support HSE Managers and collaborate with Human Resources as needed
• Promote and uphold all HSE policies, procedures, and standards
• Participate in site activities and safety planning initiatives
• Assist with audits, claims management, and injury files
• Prepare and proofread reports, presentations, and correspondence
• Support client HSE materials and prequalification submissions
• Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
• Maintain confidential departmental and project records
• Perform general administrative duties (filing, scanning, photocopying, etc.)
