About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and highly respected boutique insurance brokerage, is seeking an Insurance Administrative Assistant to join their Personal Lines practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to launch a long-term career with a stable and growing organization. Whether you've completed a co-op, internship, or have gained experience in an administrative or customer service role, our client is committed to training the right individual.

Previous insurance experience is not required. They're looking for someone who is professional, personable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn-someone who enjoys working with others and is excited to grow within a collaborative, supportive team.

With a hybrid schedule requiring just one day per week in the downtown Toronto office, this role offers an excellent work-life balance while providing valuable mentorship, hands-on training, and clear opportunities for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Personal Lines team.
  • Prepare and organize client documentation and policy files.
  • Assist with policy processing, renewals, endorsements, and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate client information within internal systems.
  • Communicate with insurance carriers and internal team members to obtain required information.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
  • Support brokers with day-to-day administrative responsibilities.
  • Assist with special projects and additional team initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous administrative, office, customer service, co-op, or internship experience is considered an asset.
  • Insurance experience is not required - comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine eagerness to learn.
  • A professional, polished, and personable approach.
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is excited to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.
