The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Attendant Care Outreach Program & Adult Day Programs. This position is responsible for preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining departmental record-keeping systems and performing general office and receptionist duties. The Administrative Assistant carries out the duties in alignment to Providence Care’s Mission, Vision and Values.
Education & Experience
Two-year Office Administration/Business Diploma; equivalent education and experience may be considered Minimum two years’ experience performing similar duties in an office environment Minimum one-year of accounts receivable experience preferred Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) Demonstrated typing speed skill of minimum 45 words per minute
Position Duties & Responsibilities
Performs regular clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing, shredding, processing mail Establishes and maintains systems for data collection, management and month end Provides payroll information for the Attendant Care Outreach Program & Adult Day Program in collaboration with the Providence Care Payroll department and the Office Coordinator, Personal Support & Adult Day Programs Provides administrative support to meetings as assigned Maintains Adult Day Program petty cash in coordination with the Office Coordinator, Personal Support and Adult Day Programs
