About the role

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various office software. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is a plus.

Duties

  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • General administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person
  • Support medical office functions such as scheduling appointments and managing patient or client information
  • Coordinate administrative activities including document preparation, calendar management, and correspondence
  • Support team members with clerical tasks such as typing, organizing files, and supporting front desk operations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a medical or dental office setting
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Effective communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service experience
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Prior experience working with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations is preferred
  • Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative certifications are a plus

Pay: $19.00-$20.50 per hour
