Junior Business Analyst
About the role
A Junior Business Analyst is required to support access to eReferral, utilizing the Agency’s pre-existing onboarding methodology. Validation of Health Information Custodian (HIC) and legal status via the Client Information Form will provide the path forward for identification. This resource will be required to category and map clinician end users to the Agency’s pre-approved HIC types and validate the legally responsible person for pre-approval prior to migration to digital health services.
Required Skills: Understanding of PHIPA principles, including consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguards of personal health information; knowledge of the roles of health information custodians and agents under PHIPA; and understanding of the Ontario health care sector and access to the EHR/digital health services in Ontario.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of information management principles, concepts, policies, and practices. Experience with business analysis methods and tools such as business process mapping, business functional modelling, stakeholder engagement, and documentation development. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
