About the Role

The Executive Assistant provides support to the Vice-President (VP) in setting a positive, collaborative, and efficient tone for the portfolio. Plays an integral role by providing confidential, senior level administrative support to the VP. Prioritizes the objectives of the business to provide briefings to the executive and plays a key role in assisting the VP in managing and prioritizing competing demands for their time and attention. Acts independently to determine when to involve the VP; assists the VP in the punctual delivery of communications (i.e., to staff, Board of Governors, etc.); proactively managing the VP's calendar, meetings, workshops, travel, speeches, etc. Gathering, coordinating and/or preparing the necessary information, materials and resources for meetings and events. Supports the VP in their development of strategies and plans, including the annual budget. Carries out special assignments, which may involve research and analysis activities. Ensuring the proper management and approval of individual and corporate expenses, and managing budget reports as required.
