About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Administrator to support our safety and regulatory programs within a federally regulated trucking operation specializing in the transportation of petroleum and gas products. This role plays a key part in ensuring our organization remains compliant with applicable federal regulations, internal policies, and industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor compliance with federal transportation regulations

Support the administration of safety and compliance programs, including driver files, training records, and certifications, and Occupational Health and Safety

Track and audit driver qualification files to ensure all required documentation (licenses, medicals, TDG training, etc.) is current and complete

Coordinate and track safety training and recertifications, including TDG, WHMIS, and defensive driving

Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external audits

Support incident reporting, investigation documentation, and follow-up actions

Maintain records related to dangerous goods (TDG) compliance and regulatory reporting requirements

Liaise with operations, safety, and HR teams to ensure consistent compliance practices

Assist with policy updates and communication of regulatory changes to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, safety administration, or transportation/logistics
- Experience in a federally regulated environment (trucking, oil & gas, or transportation) is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
