Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant and play a key role in supporting our Student Enrollment Team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a changing environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and enjoys working collaboratively. You will be an integral part of the team, contributing to student success and the effective delivery of our programs.
Major Accountabilities / Responsibilities
(Including but not limited to the following)

Drafting letters and emails on behalf of team members, as requested

Responding to emails, telephone messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Performing administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, and scanning

Maintaining both computerized and manual filing systems

Providing information to colleagues and students while handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality

Developing and updating administrative systems to improve efficiency
-
Assisting with miscellaneous tasks, including organizing and coordinating graduation events and supporting orientation activities for first- and second-year students

Working collaboratively with members of the Student Advisory Services (SAS) team and Faculty to ensure students receive the highest level of service

Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration from a recognized institution

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative role

Knowledge of office administration procedures
-
Previous experience working in a sales environment is considered an asset
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong grammar and spelling
- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities effectively
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail
- Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
- Ability to build strong internal working relationships
- Ability to work efficiently, ethically, and under pressure
Please Note
The successful candidate must be available to work Tuesday – Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm and Saturday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, with occasional evenings.
