Salary range $31.53 to $34.13 per hour. 40 hours per week. Salary placement based on level of experience and qualifications relevant to the position.
The Opportunity
The role of the Client Outcome Specialist is to perform the follow up contacts with clients to determine their employment status, respond to requests for additional support/guidance, and ensure all sustainment outcome and fees are captured. Additionally, the Client Outcome Specialist re-engages non-responsive clients to identify support opportunities and communicates with prospective WorkBC clients through the targeted referral and feedback process to share information on WorkBC services.
This role will be based out of either the Langley/Aldergrove or Maple Ridge WorkBC office,
Responsibilities
Contacts all employed WorkBC clients at 4-, 24-, and 52-week intervals to confirm employment status and to offer additional WorkBC Services if needed by client; Updates the Integrated Case Management ( ICM ) database with client employment status, and ensures all sustainment outcome fees and outcomes are captured; Quality Assurance – identifies trends and presents findings and recommendations to the QA Manager) Reviews ICM client records to ensure consistency and accuracy of data. Will liaise with WorkBC Centre staff to discuss and correct discrepancies; Provides support to clients including: resume and cover letter development, Job Search strategies and resources, liaising with WorkBC staff to identify potential opportunities; Supports the review and re-connection of clients to Centre, including contact attempts and file closures; Contacts prospective WorkBC clients identified through the targeted referral and feedback ( TRF ) process, promoting WorkBC services and encouraging registration; Supports and assists the WorkBC Quality Assurance team as needed; and On occasion, supports the WorkBC Centres with some Case Management duties.
Additional Duties
Participates in the maintenance of Douglas College’s Quality Management System ( ISO 9001:2015); and Performs other duties as assigned.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED :
Career Development Practitioner qualifications preferred; A professional, positive, and customer service attitude; Strong attention to detail with the ability to establish priorities, work to deadlines, and maintain well documented records; Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, operating knowledge of Oracle databases and knowledge of ICM an asset; Experience with interpreting statistical data and demonstrated ability to maneuver within excel an asset; Knowledge of the WorkBC model an asset. Strong Customer Service Skills; Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; Experience with interpreting statistical data; Case Management experience an asset; Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings; Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based work environment; and Satisfactory completion of a criminal records check
