Role Description The Procurement & Inventory Manager – Land Design is a full-time, on-site role based in Burlington, ON. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement of materials such as stone, wood, plants, and related supplies, as well as managing inventory levels for ongoing and upcoming landscape projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with suppliers, negotiating pricing, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records in alignment with project schedules. The manager will monitor stock levels, perform regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to reduce waste and ensure materials are available when needed. The role also involves close collaboration with design, construction, and operations teams, as well as providing responsive communication and service to internal stakeholders and external partners. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong inventory management and inventory control skills, including maintaining accurate records and optimizing stock levels. Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to forecast material needs, interpret usage data, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions. Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. Candidates should possess customer service skills to support project teams and ensure timely, reliable material availability. Experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within construction, landscaping, or a related field. Proficiency with inventory or ERP software and strong MS Excel skills. Demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively on-site in a fast-paced environment. Post-secondary education in business, supply chain, operations management, or a related discipline is an asset.
