The Opportunity

The Adara is a modern boutique hotel in the heart of Whistler Village, just steps from the lifts, world-class dining, and shopping. Our Scandinavian-inspired design blends contemporary comfort with Whistler’s rustic charm, creating a warm and stylish getaway for our guests.

We’re looking for a Front Desk Agent to join our team and be the first point of contact for guests. In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and help create the welcoming, memorable experience that defines Adara.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Full Time Availability
  • Previous front desk or hospitality leadership experience.
  • Friendly, personable, and professional with strong communication skills.
  • Confidence coaching, training, and supporting team members
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office; PMS system experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Second language is an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have secured housing (staff accommodation not available)

 

Your Days Will Look Like

  • Lead daily Front Desk operations and set the standard for exceptional guest service
  • Welcome guests and oversee smooth check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
  • Support, coach, and mentor Front Desk team members throughout each shift
  • Assist with onboarding and training new employees
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and confidence
  • Ensure departmental standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed
  • Assist with scheduling, shift coordination, and operational priorities alongside the Front Office Manager
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, reporting, and cash handling procedures
  • Assist with valet parking when required
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
