More on Education + Position Overview The Education Community Manager will serve as the primary point of connection between Education+ and Legacy+ and their growing network of individual educators. Reporting to the Director of Education Strategy & Partnerships, this role ensures that teachers and classroom-level partners receive the support, resources, and relationship investment they need to bring Education+ initiatives to life in their communities. This is a relationship-centered role that blends community management, professional development facilitation, storytelling, and day-to-day coordination. The ideal candidate is energized by working directly with educators, thrives in a fast-moving collaborative environment, and brings both warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities Educator Relationship Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for individual teachers and classroom-level partners across Education+ and Legacy+ networks • Cultivate and deepen relationships with key educators to drive engagement, adoption, and advocacy • Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively reach out to key educators with relevant resources, updates, and opportunities • Collect impact stories from educators and students, and support the creation of educator and youth features that highlight the impact of Education + programming. Inbox & Communications Management • Manage day-to-day educator-facing communications, including general inbox oversight and timely follow-up • Manage inbound interest and communications from educators related to various Education+ initiatives, ensuring educators feel welcomed, informed, and engaged. • Draft and send outreach emails, newsletters, and engagement touchpoints in collaboration with the broader team • Support the Director in developing broad communications and messaging to the wider educator community, including updates, campaign launches, and network-wide announcements Ambassador Council Coordination • Support the coordination and engagement of the Education+ Ambassador Educator Council, including scheduling, communications, and meeting facilitation • Capture insights and feedback from council members and translate them into actionable recommendations for the broader team Professional Development, Training & Events • Plan and deliver professional development and training sessions for educators, both virtually and in person • Collaborate with the Director to ensure PD content is aligned with Education+ mission and partner needs • Represent Education+ and Legacy+ at conferences, education sector events, and community gatherings, which may include networking, supporting or running a booth, and facilitating sessions as needed • Travel occasionally within North America to support in-person engagements, events, and trainings General • Other duties as assigned Director

Ideal Experience & Qualifications • 2–4 years of experience in education, educator-facing community management, relationship management, or project coordination • Experience in the education sector is a strong asset; classroom teaching experience is a plus • Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships with educators and navigate school or community-based environments • Experience working cross-functionally across teams or departments to support shared goals • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences with warmth, clarity, and professionalism • Experience facilitating workshops, training sessions, or professional development in virtual and/or in-person settings • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple priorities and communications simultaneously • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to work independently within a remote, collaborative team environment • Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practice, and community-driven education

Time Commitment & Compensation This is a one-year contract position with the possibility of extension based on organizational need and performance. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
