Role Description The Assistant General Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB and includes some travel to distance clients in Central and Northern Alberta. This position supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including coordinating wholesale orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to collision repair and specialty coatings customers. The role involves supervising and guiding team members, helping to set priorities, and maintaining a high standard of customer service and satisfaction. The Assistant General Manager will assist with sales planning, vendor relations, and basic financial and performance reporting to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities also include resolving operational issues, improving processes, and fostering a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment. Qualifications Experience in operations or store management, including inventory control and order coordination. Background in wholesale, automotive, collision repair, or specialty coatings industries is an asset. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance feedback. Proficiency with business software such as spreadsheets, CRM software and email communication tools. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Comfort with a hybrid work arrangement, including effective communication and task management both on-site and remotely. Post-secondary education in business, management, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with equivalent relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
