Our client, a large growing general contractor with a diverse projects portfolio is looking for an Estimator for their growing pre-construction group. If you have the ability to evaluate the cost of a project, and evaluate the costs to take on that project and familiarity with various project delivery methods, this could be the next position for you! Position will be based in the GTA supporting projects across Ontario.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates Support Chief Estimator and Senior Estimator in project proposals Attend site locations and site meetings as required

Qualifications

Post Secondary education in Construction, Engineering, Business or equivalent experience Solid understanding of estimating practices and bid preparation Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans 3-5 years' of construction estimating experience (Mechanical or Industrial projects preferred)

Compensation package:

Base Salary Range - $80000 to $110000 per year
