About the role
We are looking for a Medical Receptionist for our Liberty Village location located conveniently around Bathurst and King. You will be directly assisting our Family Practice, Rehab team and Walk-In.
In addition to hands on responsibilities on the front desk, Typical duties will include:
- Greeting patients in a professionally and efficient;
- Answer phones and manage requests in a professional manner;
- Processing faxes, referrals, emails and physical mail;
- Monitor and answer online requests and messages;
- Schedule appointments with patients;
- Billing, invoicing and receipt preparation (for non-OHIP services);
- Maintaining patient privacy & confidentiality;
- Being able to deal with stress in a productive manner;
- Create and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere;
- Have strong problem solving skills and ability to multitask;
- Collaboration with our physicians and nursing staff
What you will need to be successful:
- 1-3 years progressive experience in a medical/dental clinic environment; Specialist clinic is preferred
- Experience with an EMR system; PS Suite Preferred
- High degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational skills;
- Strong patient experience background
Education:
- College or university degree/diploma
- Diploma from a recognized medical office administration program desirable.
Hours of work:
- Monday- Friday 12pm to 8pm
- Saturda- 9am to 3pm
