The Role

We're looking for a motivated, innovative assistant to support the café owner across day-to-day operations and bigger-picture ideas. This is a hands-on, varied role spanning administration, photography, light graphic design, and helping bring new ideas to life across our cafés ? with plenty of room to make your mark.

What You'll Do

Handle day-to-day administrative tasks: emails, scheduling, vendor follow-ups, and keeping things organized

Take photos across our cafés ? capturing the space, products, people, and moments that tell our story

Create light graphic design assets: promotional materials, in-café signage, menus, and other branded visuals

Help develop and implement new ideas throughout the cafés ? from concept to execution

Use Claude and other AI tools to brainstorm, draft copy, research, and streamline repetitive tasks

Support the owner with ad hoc projects as the business grows and evolves

Help improve communication between café managers and staff ? bridging ideas, updates, and feedback across the team

Be a curious, proactive presence who genuinely cares about how a small business ticks

What We're Looking For

Innovative and curious ? someone who sees possibilities and loves turning ideas into action

Genuinely interested in how small businesses work, from operations to customer experience

A capable photographer with a good eye for composition, light, and storytelling

Comfortable with light graphic design using tools like Canva, Adobe Express, or similar

Organized and reliable, able to juggle admin tasks alongside creative work without dropping the ball

Comfortable using Claude (Anthropic's AI) and open to using AI tools as part of everyday work

A warm, proactive communicator who fits naturally into a small, close-knit team
