Executive Assistant
Stem Cell Network (SCN) is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the President & CEO while helping ensure the smooth operation of the Executive Office. This role is responsible for managing executive scheduling, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing correspondence and briefing materials, maintaining corporate records, and supporting the day-to-day administrative priorities of the President & CEO and senior management team. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted administrative partner, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and exceptional organizational skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment. As a key member of the Corporate Services team, this position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys managing competing priorities, and takes pride in delivering high-quality executive support.

Le Réseau de cellules souches (RCS) est à la recherche d’un(e) adjoint(e) de direction pour offrir un soutien administratif de haut niveau au président-directeur général et contribuer au bon fonctionnement du bureau de la direction. Ce poste consiste à gérer l’agenda de la direction, coordonner les réunions et les déplacements, préparer la correspondance et les documents d’information, maintenir les dossiers administratifs de l’organisation et soutenir les priorités administratives quotidiennes du président-directeur général et de l’équipe de la haute direction. La personne retenue agira à titre de partenaire administratif de confiance, faisant preuve d’un excellent jugement, d’une grande discrétion et de solides compétences organisationnelles dans un environnement dynamique et collaboratif. En tant que membre clé de l’équipe des Services corporatifs, ce poste convient parfaitement à un professionnel de l’administration expérimenté qui aime évoluer dans un environnement où les priorités changent rapidement et qui est fier d’offrir un soutien exécutif de grande qualité.

The Stem Cell Network (SCN) is a Canadian not-for-profit that supports stem cell and regenerative medicine research; training the next generation of highly qualified personnel; enabling knowledge mobilization of research; and enhancing the commercialization readiness of stem cell and RM innovations. From the lab to the clinic, SCN’s goal is to power life-saving therapies and technologies through regenerative medicine research for the benefit of all. Created in 2001, with support from the Government of Canada, the Network has funded over 280 research projects and 30 clinical trials, cumulatively driven by experts from 350 research groups across Canada. Since its inception, over 28 biotech companies have been catalyzed or enhanced and more than 7,900 highly qualified personnel have been trained. In 2023, the Government of Canada announced additional funding for SCN through the Strategic Science Fund that will support SCN activities and research through to the end of the decade.
