Job Duties The Health Information Management Technician is responsible for providing oversight of transcription, patient data entry and processing of medical records. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations and functions and for assisting the Director with directing staff activities.
Experience Minimum 2 years medical record keeping, medical coding and filing experience Experience with transcription equipment, typewriter and word processor (60 wpm typing skills) Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred Education High school degree and basic college courses to include medical terminology, basic human anatomy and physiology required.
