ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)

Office Administration Assistant certificate or equivalent from a community college.

Advanced and demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office products.

Excellent accurate keyboarding skills (minimum requirement 50 words per minute).

3+ years related office experience.
-
Knowledge of medical practice, physician credentialing, and applicable legislation is an asset.

Satisfactory attendance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)

Manage day-to-day office operations, i.e. telephone inquiries, mail, office supplies, etc.

Provide administrative support to the Director, Medical Affairs and to the Chief of Staff, including but not limited to assisting with correspondence, managing schedules, and drafting reports.

Provide support for the Medical Advisor Committee (MAC) and all sub-committees.

Under direction of the Chair, provide support for Quality & Safety Program Councils and for physician departments. This can include developing agendas, scheduling meetings, recording minutes, and circulating materials and information as required.

Support the management of physician documentation, including communication with delinquent individuals.

Maintain physician credentials files and other documents.

Data entry as required.

Other duties as assigned.
