Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands. Support client engagement through conversation, hobbies, and activities. Accompany clients to appointments, outings, and social events. Ensure client safety and well-being while maintaining a comfortable environment. Maintain timely documentation, communication, and uphold ethical, confidentiality, and infection control standards.
Job Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) Mobile Phone - for scheduling & communication Current documentation required: TB screening test First Aid & CPR certification Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Search required) Up to date Vaccination Preferred Qualifications (Assets, Not Mandatory): BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry Number Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese Valid driver’s license and vehicle International or domestic experience as a Physician, Medical Doctor, Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) Other experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Service Areas
