The Inventory Clerk is responsible for supporting inventory control and material flow throughout the manufacturing facility. This role involves replenishing production workstations, managing inventory levels, performing kitting tasks, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Replenish materials and supplies at production workstations to support continuous workflow.
  • Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
  • Perform kitting of jobs by assembling and organizing materials for specific production tasks.
  • Transfer larger orders from production to packing areas.
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet carts and forklifts.
  • Utilize ERP systems to track and manage material transactions and inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate material flow and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through logging and reconciliation.
  • Contribute to the overall organization and tidiness of the manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of materials for accessibility and safety.
  • Follow all safety laws, regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.

KnowledgeQualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
