Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional support to our staff and clients. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- General office administration duties as assigned.
- Data entry pertaining to accounting and payroll.
- Maintain and manage digital database.
- Compile data, statistics and other information.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Coordinate project shipments, bill of lading and other information.
- Receive purchase orders once work has been completed and confirmed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a clerical role is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word is a must.
- Knowledge of PDF Editor (Blue Beam) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
