HOURS: Day shifts (Monday to Friday) 0800-1600 (hours subject to change based on operational needs)
Position Summary
The clerk works as a member of the Brockville General Hospital Mammography department providing clerical support with the Ontario Breast Screening Program department as well as Diagnostic mammogram bookings.
The clerk will participate in in-services and hospital-wide activities and programs that model and promote a safe and healthy patient centered environment and that contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives.

Education and Experience
Secondary School Diploma with a required post-secondary training in office administration or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Terminology Certificate or equivalent required. Minimum of three year experience working in a clerical/administrative role within a diagnostic imaging department or health care environment required.
Skills And Abilities
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and Microsoft Explorer Demonstrated excellence in spoken and written communication Able to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure Demonstrated work experience with focus and ability to relate in a tactful and sensitive manner with staff, patients and the general public Ability to organize work tasks and work independently Good attendance and availability required
