Executive Assistant & Digital Communications Partner- Mississauga Role Summary The Executive Assistant & Digital Communications Partner provides high‑impact administrative, communication, and digital support to the Area Managing Director for Maersk Canada. This role blends traditional executive support with modern digital fluency — managing internal and external social media messaging, drafting leadership communications, and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, insight generation, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Executive Support & Coordination Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel/expenses, and priorities with precision and foresight. Prepare briefing materials, agendas, talking points, and follow‑ups for internal and external engagements. Anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues, demonstrating Constant Care in planning and execution. Serve as a trusted partner, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and alignment with leadership expectations. 2. Social Media & Digital Communications Management Manage the executive’s internal and external social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn, internal, Viva Engage, Teams channels). Draft, edit, and schedule posts that reflect Maersk’s tone, values, and strategic priorities. Monitor engagement, respond to appropriate messages, and escalate sensitive items with discretion. Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment with brand, messaging, and global guidelines. Track trends and opportunities to elevate the executive’s digital voice and visibility. 3. AI‑Enabled Productivity & Insight Generation Use AI tools to draft communications, summarize documents, analyze data, and streamline workflows. Support the executive in adopting AI for presentations, messaging, research, and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and enhance decision‑making. Maintain responsible AI use aligned with Maersk’s standards and Uprightness. 4. Internal Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Draft internal messages, announcements, and leadership updates that reflect clarity, empathy, and strategic intent. Coordinate cross‑functional communication flow between Sales, Product, Operations, HR, and Area Leadership. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition moments, and culture‑building activities. Demonstrate Our Employees by fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative environment. 5. Brand, Culture & Values Stewardship Ensure all communications and interactions reflect Our Name — the professionalism and reliability associated with Maersk. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience supporting senior leaders in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across digital platforms. Demonstrated experience managing executive‑level social media presence. High proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, generative AI platforms, automation tools). Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities. High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence. Experience in logistics, supply chain, or global organizations is an asset. What Success Looks Like A polished, consistent, and strategic executive digital presence.
