

Women's Basketball Graduate Assistant

Position Department: Women's Basketball Position School: Administration Overview: The Robert Morris Women's Basketball Program seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Assistant to support the daily operations of an NCAA Division I program competing in the Horizon League. This position provides aspiring coaches and athletic administrators with a comprehensive professional development opportunity while assisting in all facets of the program's pursuit of competitive excellence, academic achievement, and student-athlete development. Responsibilities: Assist with practice planning, individual skill instruction, player development, game preparation, and on-court coaching. Coordinate video editing, scouting reports, and opponent analysis utilizing platforms such as Synergy and Just Play. Support recruiting operations, including on-campus visits, recruiting databases, live recruiting, and other permissible NCAA recruiting activities. Assist with the monitoring of student-athlete academic progress and foster a culture of accountability and excellence. Coordinate administrative operations including travel preparation, scheduling, equipment management, office organization, and other daily program needs. Assist with the planning, promotion, and execution of Robert Morris Women's Basketball camps and clinics. Create recruiting presentations, graphics, and social media content to promote the program and enhance its brand. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Women's Basketball Coach. Minimum Qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Admission to a graduate degree program at Robert Morris University. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and travel with the team as required. Preferred Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience. Experience with Synergy, JustPlay, Photoshop, Canva, or similar software. Strong interest in pursuing a career in collegiate coaching or athletic administration. The successful candidate will possess: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High character, professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to NCAA, Horizon League, and Robert Morris University policies. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute in all areas of the program. The ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative and demonstrating sound judgment with minimal supervision.
