Job Summary:

Technology Coordinators are responsible for organizing knowledge-sharing and team-building activities, ensuring smooth onboarding for new team members, supporting conference submissions, and managing the operational needs of the Technology department, across all studios. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, and visual), and the ability to work effectively across sites and with diverse teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating technical jargon and passionate about continuous improvement—always striving for “great, but always better.”

What You’ll Do:

New Starter Support

  • Provide support for onboarding new starters in technology where required.

Calendar Management

  • Manage and maintain comprehensive calendars for departmental, partnership, and event activities.
  • Schedule meetings, track deadlines, and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Global Technology Directors including organising department meetings and social events.
  • Support the operational needs and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the conference & talk submissions team.

Knowledge Sharing & Community Engagement

  • Facilitate and organize regular knowledge sharing sessions, community roundtables and department town halls to promote learning, collaboration, and community building.

  • Organize, chair, and champion additional knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Plan and execute social activities and team-building initiatives that strengthen team cohesion and morale.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the annual hackathon event, recognized as a highly successful and impactful initiative for the team.

  • Publish and distribute a regular department newsletter.

External Partnerships Coordination & Engagement

  • Coordinate with external partner organizations for joint initiatives, such as open source projects/organisations, university partnerships.

What You’ll Need:

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with external partners or organizations, ideally in a technical environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of planning, communication, and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills —written, verbal, and visual—with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and mediums.
  • Strong presentation skills , with experience preparing and delivering clear, engaging, and informative presentations.
  • Proven cross-site communication experience , collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex calendars and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Experience with event planning, knowledge sharing, or community engagement is a plus.
  • Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom).
  • Comfortable with technical jargon and able to communicate effectively within a technical environment.

This is a 6 months contract role based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hybrid Role (Minimum requirement of 3 days a week in the office).

At NAS, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The overall market range for this role is typically $65,000 - $79,000 CAD. This reflects total compensation; we do not have bonuses.
