About the role

Winpak Division is seeking a Sales Coordinator Assistant to join their Customer Service team.

The Sales Coordinator Assistant will act as a support person to the Inside Account Coordinators.  This position will perform various duties on behalf of the Coordinators regarding stock order processing, inventory releases and file maintenance. This is an administrative role, that requires a high attention to detail and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and confirm stock orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of discrepancies or stock issues to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and shipping per customer requirements.
  • Maintain stock order templates, sales order numbering, customer, and art files for efficient operations.
  • Generate and distribute key reports (e.g., Gross Margin, Open Order Log) to Sales Coordinators and Regional Managers as per schedule.
  • Process credit/debit notes, ensuring proper entry, authorization, and distribution to relevant parties.
  • Assist in the management of obsolete items, EDI POs, and related system tasks.
  • Prepare and package correspondence and samples for furtherance to Customers and Sales Representatives.
  • Support department goals, promote teamwork, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, SQF standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative position that required a high attention to detail
  • 1+ years of experience proficiently using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • 1+ years of experience with data entry

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience providing support to customer service professionals

Additional Information:

  • This position is full-time onsite and based in Murray Industrial Park in Winnipeg, MB.
  • There is limited bus service to this location.
