We are currently seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Receptionist / Optometrist Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent organizational skills, we would love to hear from you! Qualifications * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment * Professional, friendly, and positive attitude * Previous optical or healthcare experience is considered an asset, but is not required Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: * Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner * Entering and maintaining patient information accurately * Pre-testing patients prior to appointments (training provided) * Scheduling and confirming appointments * Billing and processing insurance claims * General front desk and clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and faxing * Contacting patients to book eye examinations and recalls * Balancing payments and completing end-of-day procedures Position Details * Full-Time - Monday - Friday, No evenings or weekends!
