The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Support Services is now accepting applications for the following
full-time position, based out of Little Red River Reservation, SK:
SECRETARY/JANITOR
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Accept and record messages/receiving and answering/directing all incoming calls.
- Carry out general office duties (typing, photocopying, filing, etc.)
- Prepare agenda, minutes and reports when required;
- Booking/scheduling use of local boardrooms.
- Maintain and monitor itinerary board;
- Perform general janitorial duties;
- Provide daily cleaning and upkeep of the Band Hall and Band Office;
- Work independently with minimal supervision;
- Provide written and verbal reports with attention to factual details;
- Prepare Membership tax return during tax season - Training will be provided;
- Other duties of a similar nature as may be assigned from time to time.
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Completion of Office Education or equivalent;
- Previous experience in an office setting;
- Experience working with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.);
- Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to deal with the public in a respective, assertive manner;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential;
- Punctual, honest & reliable.
- Must have valid Driver's License and provide an SGI Driver's Abstract.
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening;
