The File Clerk position requires the candidate to perform detail-oriented and time-sensitive tasks, with a need to verify all aspects of a document before filing it into the Firm's systems. Experience in a law office or other related office experience, is an asset but training will be provided to the successful candidate. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

• Receiving, acting on, and archiving reports, emails, faxes, letters and other forms of correspondence;
• Scanning and uploading documents into storage systems;
• Forwarding communication to the correct party; whether internal or external;
• Closing files

• Strong attention to detail;
• Excellent and effective communication skills;
• Organization and time-management skills;
• Ability to find and organize both paper and online documentation;
• Proven administration skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software depending on the Firm's needs;
• Knowledge of office rules, standards, online security and safe work practices when performing duties.
