Your Role on our Team: As the first point of contact on the property or via the telephone the Receptionist is responsible for greeting customers, suppliers and other visitors and responding in a polite, friendly and professional manner to all inquiries; providing information, addressing issues and concerns, or directing to the appropriate member of the property operations team those requests that he / she cannot resolve.

Your day will look like:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all guest and residents
  • Responds to all resident related issues promptly and courteously in a professional manner, informing management and follow-up when needed
  • Maintains logbooks of activities, maintenance requests, problems, and key distribution, and escalates matters to the correct team member as required
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system and ensure all service notifications, orders and purchase requisitions are input into SAP in an accurate and timely manner
  • Coordinate access for Minto staff and contractors for occupied and vacant spaces as well as common areas; ensuring proper notice is given as required
  • Assist other members of staff with generating correspondence and notices, ordering supplies, general filing, and record management, and contacting residents directly by phone as required
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in customer service is required.
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Knowledge of Yardi considered an asset
  • Demonstrates great listening skills and asks questions to clarify
  • Effective Communication skills- listening, written and verbal
  • Collaborative and Team Player
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook
