Function:

  • Ensure the drafting and accurate distribution of insurance certificates, invoices, data entries, correspondence, memos, proposals and other documentation within the prescribed deadlines;
  • Support brokers in the management of receivables from their clients;
  • Collaborate with accounting and insurers to resolve accounting discrepancies and any related issues;
  • Organization and preparation of various payment methods including financing contracts to customers;
  • Prepare PowerPoint and Word presentations, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines;
  • Respect BFL policies and procedures;
  • Offers a support service for brokerage teams with regard to the procedures leading up to renewal;
  • Participate, when requested, in the issuance and preparation of calls for tenders and any other setting up of new business or special projects;
  • Perform any other related task at the request of his immediate superior.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of collegial studies (DEC) in office systems technology or Administration OR Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) with a minimum experience of 1 year;
  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance brokerage;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Effective management of time, priorities and deadlines;
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality results;
  • Excellent sense of organization and good stress management;
  • Reliability and ability to gain the trust and respect of colleagues;
  • Professionalism, discretion, and customer service oriented;
  • Comfortable with learning new computer platforms;
  • Proactive and innovative in problem solving and organizational efficiency;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Enthusiastic and looking for new challenges on a daily basis;
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and collaboratively;
  • Bilingual (French and English);
  • Knowledge of EPIC software, an asset;
  • Basic accounting knowledge an asset;
  • Basic knowledge in the field of insurance, an asset.
