The Tlicho Investment Corporation is currently recruiting for the following position:




Casual Receptionist


Reporting to the Administrative Coordinator, the Casual Receptionist is responsible for providing customer and client support services to the public and TIC stakeholders, and general administration/travel coordinator services to the TIC staff and management.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform reception duties, answer the phone, direct incoming calls, respond to inquiries, greet and assist visitors/staff;
  • Coordinate boardroom rentals/bookings and meeting requirements (i.e. ordering refreshments, ensuring flip chart/markers available, etc.);
  • Receive/sort incoming mail and parcel deliveries;
  • Order and maintain corporate office supply inventory;
  • Make travel/hotel bookings for staff/management;
  • Assist various departments with their administrative/logistical needs;
  • Other administrative support duties as required.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum High School Diploma;
  • Other related administration courses considered an asset;
  • Minimum 1 year related reception and administration experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer service/communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to maintain a professional standard of conduct and sound work ethics;
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently;
  • Strong computer skills including internet (travel/hotel bookings) and the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural diverse environment demonstrating culture awareness and sensitivity;
  • Ability to speak and understand the Tlicho Language is a requirement.
