At the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development we ensure children in their early years have the support that they need for a positive start to school; students in pre-primary to grade 12 receive a quality education, preparing them for what lies ahead; and we work with schools, teachers and others to increase overall student achievement and success.
The Nova Scotia School Book Bureau is responsible for the acquisition and distribution of learning resources and related products to support teaching and learning and to ensure availability in a cost-effective manner to Nova Scotia schools.
You would provide administrative support to the Nova Scotia School Book Bureau. You would be responsible for providing extensive data entry accurately into various systems, including a specialized financial, inventory database within specific timeframes. Responsible for creating various documents, maintain accurate filing system and assist with distributions. Provide professional client service with internal and external clients in the administration of our operations. You may perform other related duties as assigned.

You are currently a student enrolled in a post-secondary institution and are returning to school in the fall of 2024.

Pay Grade: HOURLY
Salary Range: $17.86 - $29.11 Hourly
